MARTIN D. FAHRER

BIO

Martin Fahrer is the winner of six Daytime Emmy Awards, and fifteen Daytime Emmy Award nominations.  He was previously nominated for Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction/ Set Decoration/ Scenic Design for a Drama Series for the long running daytime television drama, Another World in 1998.   He is also the winner of the 2001 Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction/ Set Decoration/ Scenic design, for the PBS children’s educational program Between the Lions. Martin also won a Daytime Emmy for All My Children in 2003, One Life to Live in 2007, and All My Children again, in 2009.   His last two Daytime Emmy Awards were won in 2013 in the same category for his work on the reboot of One Life to Live and All My Children, when both shows tied for the award.

 

Martin currently resides in New York, where he continues to enjoy a successful career as a freelance set designer in television, and film.  A member of USA 829 for Design and Computer Arts.  He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University’s undergraduate film and television program.  In addition to enjoying his work, Martin volunteers in his community, is an animal rights advocate, enjoys life drawing at the Arts Student League.  He also holds the rank of purple belt in Brazilian Ju-Jitsu.
